My name is Trish and I created The Good Wife to be a safe space for women to explore their beauty, inside and out. You’re more than size and measurement. We are independently owned and operated striving to bring the city of Glasgow a small town boutique with big city style. Our Story
Once upon a time, girls were raised to be a woman who married well and keep…keep the house, keep the kids, keep her husband, keep a social status, and keep herself. Societal rules and patriarchal guidelines would then define what made a woman a “good wife”.
While those things can be quite lovely and rewarding, The Good Wife House of Lingerie was named with a little wink of the eye because as women, we weren’t made to be defined. We were made to be understood and celebrated! We believe that our femininity isn’t something that should be contrived, packaged and sold. It is individual, it is within us and it’s our birthright!
The Good Wife House of Lingerie is the collective of women who are in the process of learning to know, love and accept themselves in mind, body and spirit.
You are more than measurements and numbers. Sensuality isn’t confined to age, size, style, or color. We are body positive and inclusive. Enhancing and raising your self confidence is a main goal.
We bridge the gap between dressed and undressed. From special occasion fashion lingerie to everyday underpinnings, styled lounge wear and butter soft sleepwear, shapewear, hosiery, and accessories, we’re here to help guide you in choosing looks that are flattering, well fitted and proportional, and allow you to explore and express your inner femme with playful sophistication and unapologetic individuality.
